Linda's bio (August 2005):
After high school, I didn't follow a logical progression. I went to BCC,
dropped out, joined the Navy then married a career Marine Corp Officer then
dropped out (of the Navy that is). I had two daughters, got a divorce, went
back to college (on the GI Bill) graduated from Cal State Long Beach, and
started a retail career. In 1985 I remarried. My husband Chris, (Vestal
class of 75) grew up one street away from where our family lived. Even
though I lived on Melbourne Street and Chris lived on Hazel Drive, I didn't
know him when we were in High School because he was a still a little kid.
Chris and I lived in Boston for twelve years, but recently moved back to the
area to be closer to family. While we lived in Boston, I started a retail
consulting and design business, The Advantage Program
Chris now works for BAE and I'm still busy with my consulting business.
Since high school, I've had a chance to travel, raise a family, have a
career, start and build a business, meet lots of wonderful people, love and
be loved. Who could ask for anything more?
