ALICIA VLASAK 
of Vestal
Alicia Vlasak, 55, of Vestal, went home to be with her Lord Sunday, October 21, 2001. She was predeceased by her parents, Rowland and Jennie Bollen. She is survived by her husband, Michael David Vlasak; one brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Margaret Bollen; also several nieces, nephews and cousins. Alicia was an employee of Willow Run Foods, a Sunday School worker and an active member at Ross Corners Baptist Church. Alicia also enjoyed decorating for the various holidays and many people enjoyed her great sense of humor. Memorial services will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. from Ross Corners Baptist Church with Pastor Rollin Howard, officiating. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 E. Main St., Endicott, Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. Expressions of Sympathy in her memory may be made to The Missions Fund, c/o Ross Corners Baptist Church.

In a message to Joanne Sorber: I got and "clipped" Alicia's obit from the Oct 23rd Binghamton Web paper. Thanks for letting me know. She was married to

Michael D. Vlasak from the class of 66.

There are about a dozen Vlasaks in the Alumni Directory so I guess it was a big family in Vestal. BTW, Alicia is in the directory, but her name is misspelled

as Bowllen.

Alicia's obit. was in the paper on the 23rd of Oct. Funny...I never knew that she was the sister of another friend of ours. Actually, her brother is a neighbor

& friend of my all time best friend, Dirty Sally.

Alicia's brother, Paul, used to take Sally's son, Daniel, to the dump...to watch the rats, etc. It's still one of Daniel's favorite childhood memories.

Ok...talked with Dirty Sal this morning ....Alicia suffered a heart attack.
