I
had a huge crush on her. Her brother (Bob, Rava's friend) is still in touch
with my mother, who is trying to press him into service as an amateur real
estate
agent
in Palm Springs. He lives there and she's thinking about moving there.
note from Rich Mclean: Rava is Rhonda, Mike's sister.

I
talked with Ann tonight (10/22/99) & we enjoyed reminiscing. Sent her
information on the class that I have to date. She will contact Lars, who lived
with
her
familly in 1965. Ann sent some reflections on the class of '65 which are now
in this database.

To
the best of my recollection I took AP English with Mr. Wells, AP Biology with
Mr. Burns, AP Calculus with Miss Johnson ( who, I
seem
to remember, turned up pregnant and married one day)
American History with Miss Strong, and German II with Mrs. Reese (I
had to cheat and look in some old yearbooks for some of the teachers' names).
Since Vestal, I graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a
BA in psychology in 1969, got married in 1969 to a young man who went to
Chenango
Valley
High School ( we met in the summer in Binghamton in a musical theater group),
Bore the first of our four children in 1970 in Bangor, Maine, and
the fourth in 1976. We moved to
Biddeford, Maine (it
borders
Kennebunkport to the north) in 1978.
I was a full-time stay-at-home mom and proud of it (day care sucks,
don't pay someone else to hear your child's first word) until 1980.
I went back to
college
to take accounting courses and passed the CPA exam

I
have been a practicing CPA since 1985
We have one grandson and a second grandchild due around Christmas.
As the saying goes, if I knew grandchildren were this much fun I would
have had
them
first.
My husband of 30 years,Michael, owns several businesses and
commercial buildings in Biddeford with a partner.
We have been politically active on the local level - school board,
volunteer committees - and in Rotary, on Y and hospital
boards,
church stuff, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, etc.
One of our gang, I cannot remember who, said of Mr. Wells,
"All the world's a stage and Mr. Wells has to be on it every
minute."

I
remember playing with slinkys in the hallways in Mr. Crawford's Physics class
and dissecting those awful cats in AP Biology.
I hate
cats
to this day.
I still have not forgiven Mrs. Dinga for putting Theresa Berman on
the Varsity cheering squad and leaving me as the only Junior on the JV squad
(how's
that for still bearing a grudge?)
Every time we have a heavy rain they cancel the high school
football games because someone might get hurt or the field might get torn up.
It always
reminds
me of the game we played in the snow
They brought trucks with plows onto the field to keep plowing it so
the game could continue. I guess no one worried about lawsuits back then.

Just
got in last night so I could FINALLY download those photos.......#1 is Ginger,
#2 is Ann...I dislike them both because they both look much the same
as
they did in high school!!!!!!!!!!!( Only kidding)
Joanne is right. First photo of the mystery game being Ginger in
the 1990s and second photo being a recent picture of Ann Scott (Kuehl)

He
is looking for Ann Kuehl, who graduated with us. Her brother Jack graduated a
year before us and brothers Fred and Bob a few years after us. The
Kuehls
were his sponsor family.
